These are the same books used in my niece's kindergarten classroom - she was struggling with reading so we began using these books. They really helped improve her reading skills and her reading confidence because she was able to read a whole book. She felt so proud of herself after she was able to read an entire book that it encouraged her to read more. Each book focuses on 2 sight words and the stories are fun and the illustrations are colorful. I have now purchased them for my 2 year old son. I am so glad to see them available here on Amazon.com!

I've had the sight word readers for a week and they are wonderful! My girls are 2.5 and 4.5 and have been using the preschool prepco sight words/letters/set for 6 months now. They knew many words, but the readers take the videos to the next level.
My 4yr old is very stubborn and needs to know why she needs to learn something before she'll admit what she knows. The books show her these words give her the power to read. While my 2.5yr old sees the words like pictures, my 4yr old processes the letters and sounds into words and now sentences. Using both the videos and books makes things so much easier.
Each page has a simple sentence made of sight words and one or two words they need to sound out. These books make both memorizing the sight words and sounding out new words obtainable tasks.
I recommend both the videos and these books for the best result.

My son used these at preschool. Previously he brought home flashcards which I was supposed to teach him but we both found them boring and difficult to get through. These little books make it easy, by using repetition and incorporating the words into a story. Must have for new readers! (My son started reading with these at 3 1/2)

This is so easy to take in the car or in the kid's backpack. They read these books and it helps in pronouncing words. Perfect for a gift to give or keep for your kids. I LOVE this item!
